Meet Mike

For more than 32 years, Mike and Excelerated Learning’s mission has been to help people improve their financial awareness and turn this knowledge into extra cash at home and at work. His unique style of “down-to-earth”, “right-between-the-eyes” teaching helps make complex financial and business process information easy-to-understand and actionable. 

Prior to establishing Excelerated Learning Mike was a top dollar producer for a sales training organization in New York City. He has more than 45 years of selling experience at many noteworthy companies including Colgate Palmolive and National Data. 

He holds an undergraduate degree in Journalism and Speech Communications from Northern Illinois University and an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Loyola University in Chicago. Mike possesses the rare ability to translate complex financial speak into easy-to-understand timely and relevant language so that even those with little financial knowledge can relate to and be transformed by his training. 

Mike combines hands-on business simulations, and on-line/virtual/face-to-face learning with highly customized content to give all employees, a clear road map to cash generation. He has helped thousands of employees, and more than 200 companies demystify accounting, business and financial information and literally transforms employees’ mindsets….and ultimately the bottom line. 

Mike has also developed an outstanding sales process called Financial Firepower™ which helps salespeople put a dollars and cents figure on their value proposition. And have thought-provoking, sales opportunity surfacing business conversations with plant managers, owners and other key decision-makers.

Mike and his wife Nancy live in Delavan, Wisconsin. They have four children and five treasured grandchildren, (and counting!).
